EDUxCERT

What I did

Planned, structured, and launched a product website to validate market interest and replace outdated materials.

Problem

The team was developing a complex blockchain-based product, originally created by academic researchers. As the product evolved, updating printed promotional materials became costly and time-consuming. This often led to the use of outdated brochures, with old screenshots and inaccurate messaging.

In addition, the team needed to validate market interest—specifically, whether users understood the solution, wanted to try it, and were willing to pay for it. Because the product was highly technical, it was critical to communicate its value in a way that was clear and accessible to all stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.

Solution

  • Proposed a website as a central, easy-to-update source of truth for all product-related information.
  • Structured content to clearly explain the product, highlight real-world use cases, and guide users with strong calls-to-action like “Book a Demo” and “Price Inquiry.”
  • Showcased the availability of the EDUxCERT mobile app on Google Play to build credibility and encourage users to test it.

Gather Insights

  • Conducted research on direct and indirect competitors to identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Defined key descriptive terms for the product and tested them with target users.
  • Explored user associations with specific words to determine effective color schemes and visual styles.

Implementation Process

  • Suggested a clear visual identity—including color palette and imagery—based on user preferences and brand values.
  • Created the initial sitemap and wireframes to structure website content and user navigation.
  • Led cross-functional discussions to secure alignment and prioritize deliverables.
  • Collaborated with a designer, backend engineers to create user flows and prototypes.

Handling Challenges

  • Faced tight deadlines and limited resources ahead of a key conference, which put pressure on finalizing and testing the website.
  • Stepped in to support the team by conducting manual QA testing to ensure the site was functional and ready in time.
  • Prioritized critical features for launch, aligning with the conference goals and deferring non-essential elements like the blog section to a later phase.

Results

  • Launched the website successfully ahead of the conference, meeting a critical deadline.
  • Centralized all up-to-date product information, reducing confusion and eliminating the use of outdated materials.
  • Enabled smooth product presentations and supported clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Collected valuable feedback from users and prospects, helping the team improve the user experience and validate market interest.
